PLATYPUS 2-person electric underwater exploration concept

Platypus of France has rolled out a new 2-person electric underwater exploration concept that was specially designed to travel for up to 8 hours above the water at speeds of up to 10-12 knots (18.5-22.2 km/h), and if you decide to have a little underwater adventure, then it will do so anywhere from 3 to 4 knots (5.5-7.5 km/h). Not only that, the Platypus prides itself in being a safe and stable mode of transportation whenever you dip below the earth’s surface, requiring nary an operating equipment to be worn by the pilot or passenger apart from masks because the pontoons do come with an integrated compressor which supplies air via hoses. Of course, knowing Murphy and his dastardly law, anything that can go wrong will go wrong, so we do hope that there is some sort of back-up plan to go along with the whole shebang. It doesn’t seem as though this is going to come cheap, and neither will it be affordable enough for everyone to rent, making it more or less a rich man’s plaything.
