Belize Motor Yachts was only established in 2010, and initially seemed at best a dream for its two founders, Aussie boating industry stalwarts Wes Moxey and Lee Dillon. But things quickly took shape, and the 2011 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show saw Wes and Lee announce the semi-custom, Australian designed Belize 52, under construction since September 2010 at the highly regarded Ka Shing yard(嘉信遊艇公司) in Taiwan. Now, right on schedule, it's here in the flesh.

Yacht designer Anthony Starr was involved in an initial design consultation with Moxey and Dillon, who themselves conceived the boat’s original design parameters. Sydney-based Italian designer Giorgia Druidi, who has previously designed interiors for Ferretti, was commissioned to create the soothing interiors, subtle colours and contrasting textures. American walnut cabinetry finished in satin gloss is complemented with taupe two-pack lacquer panels, while fabric panel walls, leather and accents of wood grain provide a warm and intimate ambience throughout the boat.
