台灣擠下德國，成為全球第6大遊艇生產國！但風光背後，面對全球市場的重新洗牌、中國業者的崛起，台灣將如何保有「遊艇王國」的美譽？
據英國《金融時報》（Financial Times）最新報導，台灣擠下德國，成為全球第6大遊艇生產國，僅次於義大利、荷蘭、土耳其、美國、英國。儘管成績亮眼，但去年全台遊艇產值只達1.48億美元，相比2008年的3.57億美元，產值仍沒有回到金融危機前的水準。
「整個市場都在萎縮，所有業者都拿不到足夠的訂單，」全球第10大遊艇製造商、嘉鴻集團執行長呂佳揚對《金融時報》說。
《金融時報》分析，台灣過去以低價代工在各產業上取得不少競爭優勢，但台灣的遊艇業，卻是少數產業，能跳脫低價競爭，也能在全球市場上佔有一席之地。
事實上，1980年代的台灣遊艇業，也同樣走過低價路線。南海遊艇總經理陳朝南對《金融時報》表示，一開始，台灣業者先替其他公司生產小型船，用價格優勢，站穩市場。但當勞動成本上揚，低價優勢不再，台灣業者才開始投入行銷、設計預算。
但是，想以高附加價值的「設計力」打產品，眼前還有歐洲老字號業者的阻擋。歐洲業者多半有悠久的遊艇製造和設計歷史，台灣業者想透過設計力來提高產品價格，並不是一場容易打的仗。但遊艇研究機構Superyacht Group的艾利‧布萊德（Ellie Brade）表示，台灣業者的名聲已經愈來愈響亮。

第53屆羅德岱堡國際遊艇展 主辦單位向我致謝
享譽全球的「世界遊艇首都 ( Yachting Capital of the World )」佛州羅得岱堡市年度壓軸重戲─第53屆國際遊艇展於今 (101) 年10月29日圓滿閉幕。羅德岱堡國際遊艇展係全球規模最大的遊艇展，今年在遊艇產業即有1,003家船隻或遊艇公司代表、283家船艇製造商參展，其它與遊艇產業相關之業者更是不計其數。大會估計今年入場參觀人數衝破15萬人次。
由於佛州擁有得天獨厚的天然地理條件，包括四季宜人的氣候、綿密的運河系統與蔚藍的美麗海洋，孕育出絕佳的休閒生活環境與水上活動設施，讓佛州成了眾多商賈巨紳的豪宅所在，與全球觀光客的渡假勝地，也匯聚了龐大的遊艇休閒產業。因此，佛州每年分別在邁阿密 ( 2月) 、棕櫚灘 ( 3月)、薩拉索塔 ( 4月)、羅德岱堡 ( 10月)、聖彼得堡 ( 12月) 舉行遊艇展，其中尤以羅德岱堡國際遊艇展著稱。
該展整個展覽規模高達300萬平方呎，涵蓋6個水上、陸上展區以及製造商、設計商展區等。展出來自世界各地頂級的高級遊艇、中小型汽艇、競速快艇、休閒釣漁船、帆船…等各種船型，以及各式周邊配備與相關儀器。展覽期間，參觀民眾或買主可搭承接駁巴士、水上的士 ( water taxis ) 與內河交通運輸網絡，輕鬆地瀏覽遊艇展和廣闊的水道景點。
除了展覽外，大會並安排多項精彩水上活動，包括藍野潛水展、魚叉捕魚秀、傳授釣魚技巧和竅門、免費划船、海洋藝術、水底攝影、拍賣會等，還有專門為小朋友貼心設計的兒童釣魚健診站，讓大人小孩一起hight翻天。當然還有精彩刺激的低空編隊飛行 (Aerial Flyover) 以及閃耀金色沙灘的高空燄火秀。最後的重頭戲是由世界著名歌手法郎 ( Franc D'Ambrosio ) 演唱安德魯‧洛依•韋伯的歌劇魅影 ( Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera ) 。各式各樣的精彩活動也為整個遊艇展添增了更多的人氣與買氣。
值得一提的是，該展產權所有人也是南佛州海事產業協會 ( Marine Industries Association of South Florida ) 會長亦是沃德船舶電力公司營運長Kristina Hebert 女士，特地於10月26日中午於該公會所屬的超級遊艇─佛羅里達公主號 ( The Floridan Princess ) 3樓宴會廳以午宴方式，熱情款待呂理事長佳揚與邁阿密台貿中心劉主任義良、台灣遊艇製造廠商代表等人與該會理事們會晤，並藉以表達主辦單位的謝意。
此次參展的台灣遊艇製造廠商，係在遊艇工業同業公會 ( Taiwan Yacht Industry Association )呂理事長佳揚率團下，計有嘉鴻、緯航、東哥、大新、嘉信、強生等6家領導品牌業者參與展出。駐邁阿密台貿中心劉主任義良於開幕首日特地前往展場，向台灣參展廠商致意問候，並就駐地遊艇產業發展概況與業者進行意見交流。
今年參展的台灣廠商分別展出旗下最新型的遊艇、海事軟體及遊艇配件等等，除了優質專業的船艇性能，其船艙精緻的裝潢和客製化的能力，深受參觀買主的肯定及讚揚。其中，緯航企業已經連續13年參加這項展覽，推廣自創品牌「Aritex」，其攤位展示除了展示精美產品外，更以陳列台灣美景為榮，充分展現台商提升台灣形象的用心。

亞洲新富豪貴們因為好玩和愛面子，現在只想著把錢拿來買豪華遊艇。豪華遊艇產業的主管25日在新加坡一場會議上表示，全世界7,000艘豪華遊艇中，只有不到4%在亞洲，但過去5年有興趣購買遊艇的人開始增加，而且許多買家都很年輕。
西方經濟情勢越來越糟，亞洲的經濟卻逐漸成長並聚集越來越多財富，根據2011年美林(Merill Lynch)與凱捷公司(Capgemini)公布的世界財富報告，亞洲有330萬人擁有超高身家，比北美洲的340萬人少一點，但比歐洲的310萬人還多。
遊艇產業熱衷於為富豪服務已經蔚為風潮，加上新加坡這幾年重新打造自己成為富豪們的精緻避風港，有賭場、頂級購物中心，還有4個可以容納25公尺長甚至更大遊艇的碼頭。
亞太豪華遊艇會議(Asia-Pacific Superyacht Conference)本週召開，緊接著，新加坡國際遊艇展(Singapore Yacht Show)將在27日登場，超級富豪們可以在展覽中購買世界上最大的遊艇，並觀賞豪華汽車的展示。
會展中最大的一艘遊艇是57公尺長的My Montigne號，誰願意花2,180萬美元就可以把它帶回家。
新加坡豪華遊艇協會(Singapore Superyacht Association)會長拉文尼(Jean-Jacques Lavigne)說，香港仍然是亞洲豪華遊艇的最大市場，不過泰國、中國大陸、印尼和新加坡也正顯著地成長。

COULD this be the ultimate superyacht?
The futuristic $14.5 million luxury trimaran yacht Adastra has turned heads during its unveiling ceremony in China.
It took five years to plan and build and has been described by boating websites such as Boating International as one of the "world’s most amazing superyachts".
At 42m-long and 16m-wide, the fuel-efficient boat weighs in at 52 tonnes.
It has a maximum speed of 22.5 knots and has a range of 4000 nautical miles at 17 knots – which is enough for a trip from the UK to New York.
The yacht can host nine guests and six crew members.

The vessel, designed by John Shuttleworth Yacht Designs and built by McConaghy Boats in Zhu Ha, China, can even be controlled with an Apple iPad within a 50m range.
It can host nine guests and six crew members and includes a saloon area on the main deck with a lounge, dining table and navigation station. There is also a dining area on the rear of the yacht.
There is a garage door that folds out to create a large diving platform.
The interior features honeycomb panels.
It was commissioned by Hong Kong clients Anto and Elaine Marden.

義大利豪華超大遊艇生產基地之盛譽屹立不搖
義大利造船業總產值及其附加價值占該國總生產毛額的1.8%，是義大利重要產業之一。依據義大利造船及遊艇公會UCINA發布之 2011年產業年報統計資料，2010年義大利造船業總產值為27億7,158萬歐元，較2009年衰退21.8%。其中各類型休閒船舶及遊艇產值為18億8,015萬歐元，占該產業總產值的67.8%，較2009年衰退25.7%。該產業其餘32.2%之產值則由相關由零組件、售後維修及馬達所組成。
以各類型休閒船舶及遊艇之產業細項來分析，2010年出口額達12億6,342萬歐元，占生產額之67%，主要出口地區以歐洲聯盟以外國家為主，占出口額的59%。就進口而言，2010年義大利休閒船舶及遊艇之進口額達1億2,589萬歐元，主要進口來源為歐洲聯盟會員國，占59%。
義大利長久以來一直享有超大遊艇(Superyacht)製造王國之盛譽。依據UCINA統計資料，2010年義大利80尺以上之超大遊艇總產值為6億9,335萬歐元，其中83.7%係以出口為主。不同於造船產業其他細項分類明顯受景氣影響而呈現衰退，相較於2009年此產業分項不論是產值及出口，卻分別逆勢成長2.6%及2.8%。義大利生產之超大遊艇尺吋主要為120~149尺占總產量的31%，其次為80~89尺占27%、100~119尺占20%及90~99尺占15%。
另參考2011年ShowBoats International雜誌統計全球超過80呎以上之遊艇訂單統計，截至2010年9月止全球訂單量為749件，義大利接單量即占41%，位居全球首位。其他前10大超大遊艇製造國依序為土耳其、荷蘭、美國、英國、台灣、中國大陸、德國、法國及紐西蘭。如以接單之超大遊艇總長度來看，義大利仍以3萬7,400尺大幅領先荷蘭(1萬1,063尺)、土耳其( 9,334尺)、美國(8,424尺)、英國(5,511尺)、德國(4,826尺)、台灣(4,826尺)、中國大陸(2,752尺)、法國(1,932尺)及紐西蘭(1,532尺)。
義大利造船業之總從業人數計2萬3,350人，其中從事休閒船舶及遊艇之員工占53%。該國遊艇產業聚落主要分布在Lombardia(位於此區之遊艇廠占總數的26.3%)、Lazio(占10.8%)、Emilia Romagna(占8.9%)、Campania(占8.5%)、Liguria(占8.5%)、Toscana(占8.5%)及Sicilia(占7%)。另外，境內超大遊艇主要製造商包含：Azimut Benetti S.P.A.、Ferretti S.P.A、CRN Shipyard、ISA (International Shipyards Ancona) 、Perini Navi、Fincantieri Yatchs等等。
此產業今年初較重要的消息為超大豪華遊艇製造商Ferretti因不堪虧損，將其75%的股權以1億7,800萬歐元售予中國大陸國營企業Shandong Heavy Industry Group-Weichai Group並承擔其1億1,600萬之債務，另外25%股權則由債權銀行RBS及對沖基金Strategic Value Partners所擁有。

Survey reveals berthing facilities across the country were at 83 per cent occupancy during 2010/11
Marinas Industries Association of Australia (MIAA) has released a survey that reveals demand for boat storage space at many Australian marinas exceeds current capacity. The report entitled “Australian Marinas: Economic, Social and Environmental Performance” surveyed 31 per cent of Australia's total number of marinas.
The report concludes that the average boat occupancy across all marinas in Australia was 83 per cent during the 2010/11 period, with nearly half of Australia’s marinas providing boat storage on both land and water.
A quarter of marinas reported over 95 per cent occupancy rates, whilst 52 per cent of marinas reported waiting lists for boat storage spaces during part or all of the summer 2010-11. It was also revealed that over a 39 per cent had waiting lists during non-peak seasons.
The Survey reveals that type, size, and location of a marina are all important variables affecting the supply/demand equation for boat storage spaces. For example, club marinas had a higher average occupancy of 94 per cent compared to non- club marinas at 80 per cent. New South Wales had the highest average occupancy for all marina types at 90 per cent, while the lowest was for marinas in South Australia and Northern Territory at 63 per cent. Marinas with over 250 berths had the highest occupancy at 87 per cent while small and mid-size marinas both had 81 per cent occupancy over the period studied.
Commenting on the findings, MIAA president Andrew Chapman, says the report highlights the national picture as both positive and negative for industry and for the three million people regularly involved in recreational boating.
“The good news is that the majority of marinas are seeing healthy demand that provides a strong platform for business growth. On the negative side is the looming supply shortage; the result of interrelated regulatory, lease, planning and investment barriers that have stifled the creation of new marinas and the expansion of existing marinas over the last decade. With the forecast long-term growth in boating registrations many regions will not be able to cope with the boat storage demand.
“The problem is being exacerbated in urban regions where urban consolidation means less people have the option of home boat storage. For Australia to maintain its boating, sailing and fishing outdoor lifestyle it is essential that governments better understand the economic and social significance of recreational boating and proactively work with industry to address the looming supply shortage.”

The Rivergate International Boat Show will be held on the Brisbane River in October
A new on-water boat show is to be held this year in Brisbane, Australia.
The 1st Rivergate International Boat Show will take place from October 5-7 at Rivergate Marina and Shipyard in Marrarie, directly on the Brisbane River.
The event will feature boats of all sizes, including superyachts, luxury cruisers, power and sailboats, fishing boats, inflatable boats, recreational water craft, jet skis, marine accessories, chandlery and more.
There will also be a sea trial area.
“After 18 months of planning, it is exciting to be receiving positive feedback from exhibitors who agree that participating in an ‘on water’ show located beside the majestic Brisbane River offers great advantages and opportunities,” says general manager Tracey Toovey.
“The dramatic backdrop of the Gateway Bridge and close proximity to the city centre, together with an abundance of ‘free’ parking nearby and the choice to arrive by water (allowing visitors to travel to and from the show easily) combine to offer an event like no other.”
Tourism, Manufacturing and Small Business Minister Jan Jarratt congratulated the Rivergate International Boat Show team for getting the idea off the ground.
“A dynamic events calendar is what makes Brisbane such an amazing place to visit and to live,” says Jarratt. “With a jam-packed and growing events calendar, it’s a hot spot for visitors and for local residents alike and I wish the Rivergate Boat Show team every success.”

Multimillion-dollar yachts don't usually come to mind when US consumers think about the "Made in Taiwan" label.
However, a delegation from the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung is hoping to change that. The group was in South Florida last week for the 2012 Miami International Boat Show and to meet with Port Miami officials, among other stops.
Part of the group's mission was to raise awareness that Taiwan and, more specifically, Kaohsiung are a force to be reckoned with in the marine and yachting industries — or at least that's what they're shooting for. Their message was that Kaohsiung has its share of successful yacht builders and, if all goes according to plan, the city will host its own international boat show in 2014.
Aside from touting their latest models at Miami's boat show, the group came to spread the word about the proposed Taiwan show and to work on getting some commitments from exhibitors to participate.
"We'd like to set up some relationships with the marine industry here," John Lu, founder and CEO of Horizon Yachts Co., Asia's largest super-yacht builder, told Miami Today.
In 2010, Mr. Lu and other Taiwanese yacht builders signed an agreement with the city of Kaohsiung to raise their investment in Kaohsiung and to take advantage of plans that city officials have made to aid development of the yacht industry there.
Currently, Mr. Lu said, China and Australia are the big growth markets for Horizon Yachts. Still, Horizon's boat sales in the US account for about 20% of the company's total. The company also has a focus on South Florida, having opened an office in West Palm Beach about three years ago, he said.
Horizon has been in business about 25 years, and South Florida has long been a key market for the company. Today, Horizon's yachts range in price from $1 million to $30 million, with vessels up to 115 feet long.
Meanwhile, the Kaohsiung delegation, led by Mayor Chu Chen, was slated Friday to visit Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado, followed by a international sister port signing at Port Miami, officially linking Miami-Dade County's seaport with the Port of Kaohsiung. One purpose of the ceremony was to discuss how to strengthen ties between the two ports.
The Port of Kaohsiung is Taiwan's largest seaport, and Kaohsiung is the nation's second-largest city with a population of about 2.9 million.
Miami-Dade Commissioner Rebeca Sosa, who was expected to attend the sister port ceremony, said: "Taiwan is an important trading partner and we look forward to future growth."
On Saturday, the Kaohsiung delegation was to tour the boat show in Miami Beach. Taiwan was to be among the show's 200 exhibitors with its own pavilion. In addition, the group was to sign a letter of intent for cooperation on the proposed Kaohsiung boat show, followed by a tour of a Taiwanese yacht.
About 10 Taiwanese companies in the marine and yachting business were represented during the Miami trip, Mr. Lu said, with a focus on stirring interest in the proposed 2014 boat show in Taiwan.
He added: "Taiwan is now building a convention center [in Kaohsiung] like the one here."

第24屆“邁阿密國際船展(Miami International Boat Show)”及“遊艇暨仲介展(Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show)”已於2月16日至20日在邁阿密市及邁阿密海灘市多個場地完美舉行。
此展覽為全美最具指標性的船舶遊艇展之一，分別由NMMA(National Marine Manufacturers Association)及Show Management主辦，會場超過1百萬平方英呎，參展廠商來自世界各地主要遊艇建造商及船舶零配件廠商，計有3,000艘船和2,000個展示攤位參加，包含全美80%的豪華休閒船舶遊艇相關產品，在邁阿密國際船展展出的遊艇長度以15英呎至85英呎為主，100英呎以上的大型豪華遊艇則是在遊艇仲介展展出與販售給金字塔極頂端的消費者居多。
此屆展覽最具意義的是，高雄市陳菊市長於2月18日率領代表團蒞臨該展，並於台灣形象館見證南佛州海事產業協會(MIASF)與台灣區遊艇工業同業公會(TYIA)簽訂雙邊友好合作意向書，並參加開幕酒會，陳菊市長現場熱情邀約與會貴賓2014年4月前往高雄展覽曁會議中心參加首屆台灣國際船舶展(2014 Taiwan International Boat Show)。
當日參加貴賓有陽光島灘市副市長Lewis Thaler，駐邁阿密台北經濟文化辦事處處長牟華瑋，邁阿密台貿中心主任劉義良，與邁阿密台灣商會副會長邱芳玉等，現場氣氛熱絡。台灣區遊艇工業同業公會呂佳揚理事長除帶領訪問團全體及重要貴賓參觀其所屬嘉鴻集團的二艘Horizon遊艇外，會後並引導大家前往另一家以自創品牌Alexander參展的東哥企業股份有限公司，除此之外，大瑞遊艇股份有限公司、奎隆實業股份有限公司、統怡國際股份有限公司、海宮造船股份有限公司、大新遊艇股份有限公司等也參與這次展出，參觀者皆對台灣遊艇印象深刻。
台灣遊艇產業界近年紛紛建立自主研發產品能力及自創品牌以提升國際競爭力，並邁向高附加價值豪華遊艇發展。 為此，不斷的接觸及招攬新的買主和回流顧客，透過國際性的秀展絕對是必要的推廣方式。遊艇本身的價格高昂在於其生產過程中所需要橫跨的層面極廣，如精密電子儀器、儀表、引擎系統等高科技產業，還有高級訂製手工家具、五金建材等傳統產業，除此之外後續的使用也連帶影響到碼頭、維修、燃料、保險、娛樂、服務等相關行業。由於遊艇產業牽動的產業非常廣且金額相當高，因此許多國家皆想分食這塊市場。
根據統計，平均每年有超過一千萬以上的買主會前往各大遊艇展與會參展，80%以上的人考慮購買船隻，40%以上的人會在會場直接下單或於會後向參展廠採購船隻，在美國，每年超過200場以上的船舶展帶來絕佳的商機。
雖然目前全球整體經濟現況未盡理想，將影響未來的市場需求，不過與會人士對於台灣遊艇業的未來成長仍寄予樂觀的期望。

為觀摩在邁阿密舉辦之全球第2大遊艇展之寶貴經驗，作為高雄市籌辦「2014年台灣國際遊艇展」之參考，高雄市長陳菊特率市府海洋局、經發局等相關局處，並偕同八位市議員及台灣區遊艇公會理事長呂佳揚等產業界代表共34人於2月18日上午10時抵達邁阿密遊艇展「台灣遊艇形象館」歡迎酒會會場，見證臺灣區遊艇公會與南佛羅里達海洋產業協會簽署合作意向書典禮。
陳菊市長於見證簽署典禮中表示，高雄市已將遊艇產業列為旗艦產業，為積極輔導產業發展，正開發南星計畫113公頃遊艇產業園區，成為台灣遊艇外銷重要製造基地，並正籌備「高雄世界貿易會展中心」102年底完工啟用後，於103年4月舉辦「2014年台灣國際遊艇展」，屆時將邀請全世界長期關心遊艇發展的朋友與廠商，蒞臨參加。
邁阿密遊艇展歷經半世紀的發展規模，值得學習，此次臺灣區遊艇公會(TYIA)與南佛羅里達海洋產業協會(MIASF)簽署合作意向書，為雙方建立共同利益，開啟更緊密的合作關係，朝著雙方互利互惠的方向發展各自國家產業的經濟效益，雙方互相了解並同意有密切互動，分享雙方的專業知識及市場知識，以幫助改善美國與台灣的海洋產業和環境。南佛羅里達海洋產業協會有辦理大型國際船展之優良經驗，將會協助臺灣區遊艇公會和高雄市政府舉辦「2014年台灣國際遊艇展」，發展高雄海洋產業。
臺灣區遊艇公會呂理事長隨後陪同陳菊市長參觀國內參展遊艇會場時表示，台灣初次舉辦國際遊艇展，需政府經費大力挹助及協助，獲得陳菊市長及在場議員認同，市長並允諾全力爭取議會支持寬列「2014年台灣國際遊艇展」經費，全力辦好國際遊艇展。

TYIA and MIASF form new partnership
A new partnership between the Taiwan Yacht Industry Association (TYIA) and the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) will be announced on the Horizon stand at the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show on Saturday, February 18, from 10.00-12.00.
During the event, John Lu, Horizon CEO and president of the TYIA, and Kristina Hebert, president of the MIASF, will sign a letter of intent to establish a mutually beneficial relationship for the advancement of the global yacht industry.
During the conference, the TYIA will also announce plans for a 2014 Taiwan International Boat Show located in Kaohsiung City, and the event will close with tours of Taiwan-built yachts on display at the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show, including the Horizon V74 and PC58.
The TYIA and MIASF are both dedicated to progressing the yacht industry in their respective areas, and through a close working relationship the two associations will endeavour to bring growth and development to the industry as a whole.

高雄市長陳菊今天表示，即將在月中前往美國洛杉磯拜訪國際知名的電影特效公司Rhythm & Hues Studios，再轉往邁阿密，觀摩並規劃高雄市在民國103年辦國際遊艇展。
高雄市議會今天召開臨時大會，市長陳菊率首長出席，並拜訪議長許崑源尋求市議會支持市府的相關年度預算和法案審查。
陳菊說，月中將前往美國參訪，包括到邁阿密市參觀遊艇展，同時也安排了洛杉磯行程，拜訪國際知名的電影特效公司Rhythm & Hues Studios。
Rhythm & Hues Studios是世界知名的電影特效公司，該公司是在國際知名導演李安的牽線下，相中高雄市駁二藝術特區7號倉庫成立視覺製作中心及文創學習中心，培訓在地視覺特效人才，讓高雄邁向亞太電影之都。
R&H創辦人修斯（John Hughes）去年底還來高雄市參觀，陳菊專程陪同，歡迎R&H進駐高雄。
陳菊說，R&H來投資可以帶動很多關聯產業進駐高雄市，同時也有助於培養影視科系學生和產業發展。
高雄市文化局長史哲表示，R&H公司的投資步調很快，已完成在高雄市的公司設立，並進行辦公室裝潢，預計初期會有百名外籍專業人員進駐，也計劃開始召募在地人力。
R&H製作的好萊塢電影超過130部，包括「魔幻王國：獅子‧女巫‧魔衣櫥」、「加菲貓」等。
陳菊說，高雄市積極推動遊艇產業，也在開發遊艇專業區，市府參訪邁阿密的遊艇展之後，將規劃邀請相關業者103年出席高雄國際遊艇展的活動。

據市場調查報告資料，全球休閒遊艇市場規模每年約400億美元，而加拿大豐富的海洋，湖泊及河流資源提供遊艇產業良好的發展環境，和美國並列為全世界最大的遊艇市場。
享受休閒遊艇活動帶來的快樂與時尚，是加國人喜愛的高端休閒活動之ㄧ，據市場調查報告顯示，加國休閒遊艇產業產值高達156億美元，佔加國觀光產業的10%，加國遊艇俱樂部星羅棋布，去(2011)年擁有搭乘遊艇經驗的加國民眾高達1,050萬人，佔加國總人口數比例約38%，擁有休閒遊艇逾300萬艘。
加國從事休閒遊艇產業的主要分為兩大類，多為家族企業及一般企業經營者，相關從業人員逾15萬人，預估遊艇俱樂部每年支出約3億7,000萬美元。
在遊艇零售市場部份，據統計，加國去(2011)年遊艇及引擎等相關產品零售市場規模達28億美元，較上一年衰退21%；其中，遊艇銷售量約4萬4,400艘，預估銷售總額約16億美元，衰退18%；在二手遊艇市場部份，約售出5萬4,247艘，預估銷售總金額約10億美元，較上一年衰退25%。
在進出口貿易統計部份，加國2010年對外出口划艇(rowboats)和獨木舟(canoes)產品總數約21萬5,000艘，較上一年成長率達26%，佔所有出口遊艇產品總量81%；另對外出口尾部裝有馬達的小艇(Outboard boats)產品總數約6,823艘，出口總額約960萬美元，佔所有出口遊艇產品總量3%。
在此同期間，加國自國外進口Outboard boats產品總數1萬4,466艘，進口總額約9,800萬美元，佔所有進口遊艇產品總量16%。
此外，加國卑詩省休閒遊艇產業在過去十年發展迅速，搭遊艇賞國慶煙火活動、帆船比賽、青少年帆船夏令營等水上活動十分興盛，是該省重要的觀光產業之一。
據統計，卑省遊艇製造業經濟產值達2億7,700萬，包括遊艇製造、維修、碼頭管理、遊艇配件、水上運動器材、娛樂及其他服務性產業，相關從業人員逾千人，約佔加國總遊艇製造業人員的25%。市場專家表示，目前最熱銷的遊艇類型為多用途船(Runabout boat)，搭乘人數約6至8人，船上配備冰箱、洗手間、冷氣、防曬頂棚、烤肉爐、衛星導航系統等，適合全家人在湖上釣魚、滑船和游泳等水上娛樂活動。
